Abstract: The study of natal and neonatal teeth has generated much interest through the years. This is a rare condition that may interfere with the chronology of normal tooth eruption.
The purpose of this paper is to present a literature review which focuses on the clinical and histological aspects of a natal tooth in an infant seen at the dental department at Senhora da Oliveira Hospital – Guimarães.
