Aesthetic Medicine
Aesthetic medicine is a field of medicine focused on improving people’s physical appearance using a variety of non-surgical procedures. It encompasses a range of techniques and treatments aimed at improving patients’ aesthetics, self-esteem and well-being.
Unlike plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine does not involve invasive interventions. Instead, it uses less invasive procedures to improve appearance, such as facial fillers, botulinum toxin (Botox), chemical peels, laser treatments, among others.
These procedures are carried out with the aim of rejuvenating the skin, reducing wrinkles, expression lines, blemishes, scars, as well as promoting body contouring, improving skin texture and treating specific aesthetic problems.
Aesthetic medicine focuses not only on physical appearance, but also on patients’ health and emotional well-being. It seeks natural results, respecting each person’s individuality and promoting a personalised approach to meet patients’ aesthetic needs and goals.

Bichectomy
Bichectomy is an intra-oral surgical procedure with no visible scar that removes a fat structure in the inner region of the cheeks (called the Bichat ball). As a result, the face looks slimmer and has more defined features.
This procedure is suitable for people with a rounded face shape, which is not eliminated even with weight loss, as well as for those who bite their cheeks causing damage to the oral mucosa.
JOWL LIPOLYSIS
Lipolysis of the jowls is a painless orofacial aesthetic procedure that aims to considerably reduce the volume of localised fat in the neck area, putting an end to the “double chin” effect. This non-invasive treatment is carried out with deoxycholic acid (Belkira), which breaks down fat cells around the neck and is recommended for those who want a slimmer, more elegant neck/face.
The procedure combined with Orofacial Fillers in the jawline region, results in the return of facial contour, promoting a three-dimensional rejuvenation.
LIP FILLING
Lip Filling is a treatment that aims to:
– Define the contour of the lips to obtain a more sensual mouth and mould the arch of the mouth;
– Increase volume, giving the appearance of plumper lips;
– Recreating the ideal proportion between the upper and lower lips;
– Restoring correct symmetry, such as in cases where the upper part is too thin in relation to the lower;
– Reduce wrinkles in the perioral area, known as “barcodes”.
To achieve the results our patients want, we use hyaluronic acid fillers!
Botulinum toxin
Treatment with botulinum toxin (Type A), better known as Botox, is a cosmetic injection that blocks the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. This effect relaxes and softens expression wrinkles, particularly wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes (“crow’s feet”), thus preventing static wrinkles and giving the skin a brighter, more rejuvenated appearance.
Botulinum toxin can also be used to correct and balance facial asymmetries, relax neck bands, reduce excessive perspiration (treatment of hyperhidrosis), treat migraines and treat other excess muscle contraction.
